Air heating units

Description, scope

Air heating units (AHU) are designed for air heating systems of industrial and public premises. Hot water is supplied as a heat source through central heating piping system or an individual boiler.

The main areas of AHU application are large single-space rooms: Halls of shopping malls, industrial workshops, warehouses, exhibition centers and showrooms.

Air heating units are installed on the room floor, mounted on a support or on a wall, suspended to the ceiling.

Special appliances shall be used for the supply of external air.

Distinctive features:

The air heating unit consists of a housing with a powder coating, which is made of steel from 0.75 to 1.5 mm thick and a fan with a protective mesh. The type and size of fans depend on the required parameters of the jalousie, which is made of sheet steel to guide the airflow; the heat exchanger installed in the housing, which serves to heat the air to certain parameters.

The fans are equipped with separate blades made of sheet steel or composite materials with sickle-shaped geometry. The fan and the motor rotor are completely balanced. Protection class is IP44 in the mounted state. The stator has a moisture-proof insulation, and the rotor is provided with protective coating and has a hole for condensate draining.

Fans can be used in any mounting position since they are made with the use of maintenance-free ball bearings . At a temperature of +40°C, the estimated service life is 40,000 hours. Ambient temperature: from -15°С to +55°С. For a short period, -30°C without condensation is permissible.
